Motherboard Choice?

I'm building a custom computer and I am getting a Intel Processor socket 775. I be wondering if I should go beside a Intel or Asus motherboard?

Motherboard Choice?

you didnt say what your processor speed and fsb be,, and the cache,, those make a big difference,, some boards may not support them,, you obligation one that will support at least the stratum your cpu is , but definitely one that will allow for overclocking,,

asus is apposite, gigabyte, epox and intel are also good,,

also check out :

www.newegg.com, www.zipzoomfly.com, www.tigerdirect.com, or www.laptops4me.com,,,

those are my favorites to compare prices,,adjectives products on those sites come w/ manufacturer's warrenties,,

stay away from ebay, craigslist, yahoo auctions, and other auction sites , as most of them do not offer warrenties, and most merely guarantee for a week at most,,

use a reputable online vendor approaching the 4 i listed above,, for a strange build,,,
I don' believe intel makes their own motherboard, Asus, Gigabyte are intensely good motherboards. It also depends if you want to hold advantage of the most modern hardware technology. First see if it supports SATA 3.0Gbps with onboard controller, pci express slots and support DDR800Mhz strike. If so, then you'll be capable of get a awesome video card, great verbs speeds on SATA II hard drives and much more.
Depends on what the boards extend .. pick the one that best suits your application ... for example max amount of memory, usb ports, number of pci slots, raid on the bus, etc.
