My AMD 3800+ dual core skips from 2ghz (1.35v), where on earth it should run at, to 1 ghz(1.1v) power supply issue?

I just now bought my computer in January, Emachine model T6540, mb: ECS C51PVGM-M, looks close to a no name power supply 300w, 512 bump, 160 gb hd, dvd writer, and the 3800+ amd dual core. The only article I added is a XFX GeForce 7600 GT XXX. Has anyone else ever had this problem and found a solution?

all right it looks like after count the video card the power supply could not handle the up to date addition to the +12v Rail.



looking at the Amperage rating of the +12v guardrail should tell you something.



it should be at tiniest 20A on the +12v rail. and 450W total output.
