Check that you haven't enabled 'digital output only' for speakers that do not support digital output.
you own to install drivers from mother board drivers cd.

go to device boss and update driver.

still it does not work, then throw that buy a latest one.
Is this a new setup? On my computer, the audio input and output jacks are mismarked. My input jack is in fact the output. Good luck.
