I own a Mac and my son just delete my entire song library. (500 songs) How can I retrieve it?

If he didnt empty the trash dance to the trash, (on the far side of the dock depending on where it is) Open it, and if you see adjectives of your music there drag it to the library, or to the desktop first, but i dont reckon it matters.
um.... did he remove them from your library or your sturdy drive? if he removed it from your library just travel to where your music folder is... if its not on your sturdy drive it should be in your trash bin
