Maximum memory 2GB...?

My dell dimension e051 maximum memory size is 2GB (2,048 MB) is that enough for a computer solely used for multimedia audio production?? currently running Fruity Loops 5 and Acid Pro 5.0 softwares but simply wondering even if i upgraded my pc memory to it's full dimensions, will 2GB be ultimately enough to run these programs smoothly near no overloads i.e. skipping during music editing etc...?

Maximum memory 2GB...?

2gigs of ram is plenty to run just give or take a few anything on the market today, even vista. I cant speak for adjectives applications but I do a good amount of video editing near adobe premeire with no probelems and I hold only 2 gigs even though my motherboard supports up to 4.
2GB should be plenty for you for a while, within is really no reason to step higher because unless you move to the 64 bit newspaper of windows you can merely utilize about 3ish GB of RAM. It have to do with the 32bit address space and adjectives.

In short 2 GB has worked fine for me for the closing few years and I've been doing video editing and some hardcore gaming.
