Looking to build a clean Gamers PC. Specifically for F.P.S. (BattleField2)?

Just built one for a friend for BF2. Went kinda the cheap route, but works awesome. Started with a Antec Case and a ECS motherboard w/SATA . Got a P4 3.0 GHz. CPU w/ HTand 800 FSB, Coolermaster "jet" CPU Cooler, 1 see ram, 200 see WD HD, Nvidia 6800oc Vid card. Put DVD/RW drive in it next to a few more accessories added within and came to just about $500.00 off ebay. Runs adjectives games pretty good so far. Have a polite one..
hit me up on AIM-sameoguy787 i build umm for a living ill impart you a good spec document.
First off do not shift out and buy a ready made computer!(Dell,HP,Gateway, E Machines, ETC.) Have a custom built computer. A lot more stuff for alike amount you would pay for a set made computer. I build computers and I can build a top of the line computer that any equipped made company would sell you for $2000 I can build for $600 Plus the warranty last a lot longer next a year! So Go have a custom built computer!
You can build a clad gaming PC for about $1000. You essentially just pilfer a standard midrange PC and put in a clothed video card.

If I was going to built one:

Core 2 Duo E4300 to overclock - $180

Decent mobo - $110-$160

2GB DDR2-800 knock against - $210

Hard disk - $60+

DVD+/-RW - $35

Case, Power supply - $120+

Radeon X1900GT (best bang for the buck right now) - $155

That comes out to... ::open calc::

$870

The 5,000 dollar PC...

Get your self a PC with PCI-X.. A video card beside at least 512, and at tiniest 2 gigs of ram..
