looking to buy a laptop 3200 memory?
yes....
contained by fact i own 2x256 (dual channel) and 1x512 in mine....
yes thats fine
Yes, though it's usually best to own identical modules, approaching 2x512, 2x1GB, etc.
It depends primarily on your Motherboard capabilities.
You necessitate to review your MoBo specs. Usually this will be in the form of a booklet, or it will be on a disc that came near your PC when you bought it. Worst case is to shift to the MoBo manufacturers net site and get the specifics.
Newer PC's will usually hold 4 RAM slots capable of 1G of RAM respectively. However, some types of RAM may require you to install it in complementary pairs. An example of a type of that RAM is Dual Channel which usually requires matching pairs of RAM modules.
You can also use RAM analysis utilities on the following sites. They are comparatively reliable as to the type of RAM you have, how much RAM is surrounded by each slot, and what you type of RAM you should charge. Just check your MoBo manual to see if at hand are any RAM size limitations.
