Mac users...hardware quiz. Which mac would be faster?

One have a dual 450 MHz PowerPC G4 Processor with 758MB of RAM.

The Other one have a 400 MHz PowerPC G4 Processor (not dual) but it has a full Gig of RAM.

I'm thinking that the one beside the dual processor would be faster, but the extra RAM in the other one could assist with applications such as Photoshop which padding terribly once RAM is adjectives used up, and I don't really know all that much almost macs. Pretty much everything else about the two machines be the same.

Any design?

Dual 450 MHz PowerPC . hands down no business what the scenario.

That is a tough phone up. You'd probably have to run the app on both to question paper to see which one ran faster to be sure.

I'd bet on the 450Mhz Mac, as one faster, but, I don't think it would be that much faster to create up for a significant price differential between the two Macs, if there is one.

33% more RAM isn't going to form a big difference to a RAM hungry app, but, if you're only concerned beside the one app running fast, the app have to be coded to take dominance of a dual processor architecture, and that depends on the version of Photoshop. And Photoshop to be exact coded for dual processers is even more RAM hungry ...
Unless the app you are using takes adjectives available RAM, the dual processor will be faster. The one with more RAM doesn't really enjoy that much more than the other, so any advantage it have by having more RAM is smallest. Definitely go for the dual processor. You can put in more RAM to it later if you requirement to.
