Macintosh: Can You Install Final Cut Express HD 3.0.1 on a untried IMac?

Has anyone tried to install FCE HD 3.0.1 on a untried IMac. I would think it should run fine, but I'm getting an error message that say I need a diff graphics card. As far as I can relate, the graphics card in the current iMac should be compatible with the elder version of the software..

Macintosh: Can You Install Final Cut Express HD 3.0.1 on a untried IMac?

With an Intel Mac? I don't feel so.

System Requirements for Final Cut Express HD 3.0.1

— Mac OS X 10.4 or later

— Pro Applications Update 2005-02

— Macintosh computer near a PCI Express video card

— (iMac (iSight), Power Mac G5 Dual, or Power Mac G5 Quad)

— QuickTime 7 or later

If it's an Intel CoreDuo you can download Final Cut Express v3.5.1, I come up with.

* 512MB RAM
