I am looking to upgrade my v. elderly Mac G3 400Ghz.



Must be able to play games approaching Half-Life 2.

So deeply, just buy any PC, even a budget Sempron system and incorporate a decent graphics card.

try Windows XP it has compatibility mode (in properties it have compatibility for older Windows versions)

Any new Intel Macintosh runs Half-Life 2 below BootCamp.
do a google search for alienware these are the best gaming laptop. you will pay more but you will find a top class machine
